[AT] OT LED question

Mike, I just went and bought a box of those bulbs.
3 pack, 100 W, 2500 hour, 1600 lumen. $1.99 in a
convenience store. NOW, it does say in very small
print at the bottom of the box, "heavy duty, rough service"
so that IS how they are getting around the law.

What doesn't change is the fact that they are NOT HALOGEN
and I’M NOT crazy or a liar.

The point remains the same. These bulbs used to be made by
American workers in places like Goldsboro, NC and Winchester, VA.
In plants that are now shuttered because the EPA made some stupid
rule that allowed the manufacturers to ship the jobs off shore where
they can avoid environmental laws, minimum wage laws and YES Obama
Care.

I was asked, by Ken I think?, to take it easy on Steve. I'll be glad to. I
like
Steve and in the past he has been helpful to me. He is indeed an
intelligent
man but WHAT I AM ASKING IS THAT Steve take it easy on me and stop nit
picking
everything I post as if I am stupid and don't know what I'm talking about.

Steve if I'm wrong about something I say I want to be corrected. I just
don't like your
condescending tone. I might not have reacted to this message if not for all
the ones
before it over the past few years. PLEASE consider the way you sound.

I know I’m a bit harsh and abrupt myself at times. I don’t mean to be and
probably
Steve doesn't mean to be either but this bump has been picked until it's a
sore with
a scab on it. I've had enough of it.

Charlie

Charlie, are they by any chance what they refer to as a heavy duty or a
rough service bulb? I know they can still make those legally. I got so
tired of the florescent squiggly bulbs in our barn, try feeding horses
at 4 AM, when it's 0 degrees outside, all I would get is a faint glow.
Replaced all the bulbs with _300 watt_ incandescent bulbs, now I
actually see and work on my tan.

Regards,

Mike M
