Typical busy day problem, found the tractor wouldn't start.  Battery was good, carefully jumped the solenoid and it started normally, must be in the safety circuit.   There were notes from the prior owner of having a similar problem in 2010, apparently the fix was adding a good ground for the fuse block.  That's the first thing I checked, found a !@#$Y wire crimp connection, wiggled it and it came apart.  Of course, the ends were short, I made a new end with a terminal, the soldered and installed heat shrink, but that didn't fix the problem.

I started chasing the safety switches, the transmission one is OK, then found the PTO switch and some wires were off.  Checking the notes from the prior fix, apparently there was recall or something that states a circuit was added to this switch.  There are 2 green wires, like the other safety switch, and a yellow/bk wire.  One green and yellow/bk have 12V with the switch on.  I can't figure out how the 3 terminals on the switch are supposed to work, it seems there is a common, one side closes PTO ON, the other PTO OFF.  The yellow/bk wire may not even be for this switch, it isn't inside the same boot, but the boot appears to have been cut so this wire could be added.

If put a jumper between the 2 green wires, the tractor will start, still have the L-N-H safety in place.  That's all the safety the prior tractor had anyway, I'll live with that while I hunt for information.

I'll also look for any other place that yellow/bk wire might go.....
