[AT] Somewhat off topic: Pull behind lawn vacs

Greg, what are you attaching this vacuum to? I’d check craigslist in your surrounding area. That and check with a dealer of your mower to see if they may have a used unit out back that came in through a trade.

I bought a Exmark zero turn a few years back and got the vacuum attachment. It drops right on the deck and the fan is driven from an added pulley to the deck. No second engine to change oil on or carb to varnish up.

It uses a smooth plastic tube (stick plugging comment from another post) and drops into 2 bags. I tried to purchase the clam shell hopper but found it didn’t work with my model. In the end the bags worked better because I was after the ability to use the clippings as mulch in my garden and flower beds. Bags have held up well so far.

But as others have said. You’ll have more clippings than you realize and during the spring and fast growing season there are many stops to empty them.

Brad
