Bo,
    Glad to hear you are OK.  I have some friends in Monroe and Hammond and they are high and dry so far.  I also have an acquaintance down there who decided to take a tractor ride in the floodwaters and thought he knew where the road was.  The attached picture shows where he ended up.  This photo is after the waters receded.  Prior to that the water level was up to the center of the steering wheel

Well guys , you know how it is , the older you get the slower you move (
will turn 77 tomorrow ) . Have been busy getting ready for our family and
friends get-to-gather    (

held 3-12-16 with about two hundred and 50 people from across the USA
coming in for the big day . Spent about two weeks cleaning up and getting
ready , a day of partying , another day of getting rid of trash and was at
the hospital this morning at 5 am for cataract surgery on my left eye . The
best things in my life at this time is,   GOD , FAMILY & FRIENDS and I
consider the antique tractor guys MY friends . SO put  March 11 , 2017 on
your calendar and make a surprise visit to 2622 Marshall St . in Sulphur ,
La .next year and I promise you want leave hungry . Nothing special EXCEPT
pork ribs off the pitt , fried catfish and fries and this year we consumed
about 360 lbs of fresh boiled crawfish . Oh , the water is RISING but still
quite a ways from my home .
