Is this in Florida ?

Remember this list covers the United States, Canada, and Sweden. Helps to
know where you are if everyone doesn't know you personally.

Subject: [AT] Frost laws - weight restrictions

Hi All, was wondering if anyone out their knows some generalities
regarding weight restrictions when the frost is coming out of the ground
in spring. I needed my tractor picked up to have some warranty work done
on it, and we were all set to go when the county slapped up the weight
restriction signs. I got a call from the man I deal with who told me I
would need to wait until the restrictions are lifted. Seems a little
overly cautious to me. We're talking about a dually 1 ton pickup with
what I would assume to be a 10,000 lb rated trailer. My tractor can't
tip that scales at much over 5,000 lbs. Can anyone give any insight? I
certainly understand not wanting to take the chance of getting caught,
but our garbage truck still comes down the road and I know it's a fair
bit heavier that the pickup combo.

Thanks,
Mike M
