Fill up a gasoline vehicle with a large tank - like a pickup - except for a gallon or two. Put in a gallon or two of that diesel/gas mix to it. The gasoline vehicle will be able handle the diluted  mix better than the diesel vehicle handle the gasoline.

Repeat a couple of times.  

I have never miss-fueled a diesel vehicle, but I did accidentally fill a diesel canister that was half full with diesel, with gasoline once. I used this solution with one of my gasoline vehicles to no ill affect.  The tank held 22 gallons.  I'd fill it to within two gallons, throw the 50/50 mix in to top it off.

Worked for me and I drove that vehicle another 75K miles before I sold it, running fine, at 235K miles.  It was a modern fuel injected obdii vehicle too.
