It sounds like a lot of work but I have the log books my uncle kept for 
his Case DC4 back in the 1950s.
Also the later Farmall M and John Deere AR. The date , number of hours 
worked , which field and
what implement he was pulling. And of course the date of the oil changes 
along with weight and
brand of oil. I think it takes a special kind of dedication to keep such 
detailed records.
