[AT] Allis Chalmers

Cecil, I'm not that familiar with the 7030 but the power director is the
high low range on it IF it has a manual shift transmission. I think on
that tractor it shifts ranges with a button. I just didn't know which one
you were talking about. The power director is a wet clutch with metal discs
that run in an oil bath. It's not that hard to adjust if you read the
manual first.
Or at least it isn't on the smaller power director tractors.

Anytime you have a problem on the Allis if you'll go over to
www.allischalmers.com
there are some guys there that know it inside out and will be glad to help
you. There
are also parts vendors there that will do you right.

Charlie

Not really sure, I don't think it has a real clutch and pressure plate,
it is a hyd piston. I will have to consult the manual.
