Cecil, your IH truck engine sounds like a similar oil filter setup as 
what I have on the IH combine
engine and that is a DT466. Mine has both filters the same and just 
working from memory I think
they are Fleetguard LF3316. It gets one oil change per season and I do 
both filters every time.
Close to  30 years and 4000 hours and still running strong.
