[AT] Cold weather: 3 pt. snow blowers

That kind of reminds me of one I’d seen in the past. A girl I dated in HS lived on a farm and they had a lane that wasn’t that long but since they were the last house on a dead end road the county put it last on the list. So to get out they’d clear their lane and part of the county road. Probably a good mile or better. Her dad had a JD (4440 or something along those lines) that had a cab and front mounted blower. I vaguely remember it but I remember seeing a shaft that ran to the rear of the tractor for the PTO. Not sure how it mounted but it wasn’t a loader frame. Always thought that was the way to move snow. Heated cab with wipers!! He kept it in his shop that I believe was heated (or at least warmer than outside) so it would always be thawed off and start. Of course I don’t believe $$ was an object and he took very good care of everything he owned.

I always enjoyed my chats with him. Now his wife on the other hand….. Hahaha…of course I was dating her daughter so I’m sure that didn’t put me in her best graces.  ;-)
