Exactly what I was thinking Larry. You saved me the trouble of typing 
it. I can only recall being stuck once with the Massey, bad enough that 
I needed another tractor to pull it out.
And that was when I had the bale fork on the loader and couldn't use 
that method of pushing the tractor back out of the hole I had sunk into.
I've used that tractor and loader year round for pretty near 20 years 
and got by ok with two wheel drive. I'll admit it would be nice to have 
front
wheel assist but its not an option on this 52 year old tractor so I've 
developed the necessary driving style to make it work.
