Have you considered an older skid steer? Some of the older Bobcat and Case skid loaders are getting more reasonably priced and once you've used one you will throw rocks at a tractor loader.

>> Because of some bartering that her friend and I did, I have had access to a front loader over the last few years. The bartering arrangement is coming to and end  however and I will need to figure out how to acquire a decent front loader.(this is why I was looking at the Massey 1540).
