[AT] Having a little fun

Chuck, dad has quite a bit of hearing loss, not necessarily from sawing. I
mention that because yesterday I cranked up an old Wright one man saw I have
(it’s a chainsaw, not a reciprocating saw like most of the Wrights you find
are). I already knew to put on hearing protection, dad immediately asked for
some. I think that was the first time He ever asked for it! Most of the 2
man saws are "quiet" enough to play with, some have mufflers bigger than
your lawnmower. The smaller one man saws normally have an exhaust trumpet
and that’s it.

John,

How cool it is that your dad still likes to saw with you. Hope we all can
do as well when we're 85. Also like your saw gear hauling Farmall.
Chain saw winters might have had a hand in my having to break down and buy
the geezer gear called hearing aids
a couple of weeks ago. Shirlee had been hinting around that I needed them
for months and I finally gave in. Pricey little
boogers.
