Been around hammer mills most of my life starting out helping my dad 
feed the old Case 14 inch mill
powered by the Cockshutt 50. Grinding up oats for cattle. Sometimes we 
would change screens and
grind a straw/hay mix to which we would later add the chopped oats . 
They ate it up with no waste.
I still grind up oats for the cattle. Different mill now. An even older 
IH mill but still the same old 50.
You have seen it in my videos.
