No doubt you are right Steve. I was too young to notice such things when 
dad still had the D.
What sticks in my mind on that tractor shed was the sheet of corrugated 
metal nailed to the inside
of the roof over the tractor as a sort of heat shield to deflect the 
exhaust from the D as it sat in
the shed warming up. We tore that old shed down in 1977 before building 
the steel quonset on
that site.
