I’m not sure what your financial condition is Spencer, nor his—and neither is any of my business. So take this advise for what you think it is worth. If the tractor were mine (and if the guy did not have the money necessary to buy it) I would give it to him with the condition that if he ever no longer wanted it (or had no use for it) he had to give it back to me. If he is too “proud’ to go along with that I would tell him $500.00, but he must give me the right of first refusal on a re-buy (for $500.00) if he no longer wants/can use it.

PS, If you do either of the above you will, someday, have a fine present for your grandson’s 16th birthday!
