I can relate to that childhood experience, Len, two buckets of water for the chickens--for balance. We had a feisty rooster that took advantage of the fact that I was loaded down, and he would peck my heels as I walked across the chicken yard with those buckets. One Sunday morning, I had had enough of his harassment, so I dropped both buckets, whirled around and kicked. I happened to catch the rooster in his neck and broke it clean off. We had chicken for lunch!

I remember how hard it was to carry one bucket of water, then I learned to carry 2 buckets at the same time, one for the chickens.  Balance is good.  I don't think I remember really how hard I probably worked as a kid, I just didn't know any different.

If I have one that I don't know what is in it, and am just keeping it
for parts, I will fill it with windshield washer fluid.  It is good to
-20 and keeps the block from rusting.
