Dave,

Good recommendation but I have one question: Why do they state this? "For towing applications up to 80 in. wide" My 20' equipment trailer with currently working lights is 102" wide which is maximum legal width. Don't understand the 80" limitation? Does it have to do with running/clearance lights required after 80" width? I have those on my trailer but????

It's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

These lights (See: http://www.harborfreight.com/12-volt-magnetic-towing-light-kit-63100.html?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=3316b&utm_source=1021&cid=mEmail_s1021_c3316b <http://www.harborfreight.com/12-volt-magnetic-towing-light-kit-63100.html?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=3316b&utm_source=1021&cid=mEmail_s1021_c3316b>) are on sale tomorrow -Sunday at Harbor Freight for $8.88. When I go to shows I always carry two sets—one for my trailer (if need be) and one for whoever’s trailer is having light problems. For nine bucks it’s a REAL good buy!
