I think it very important we make our selves heard to try to retain the values we grew up with.  Not speaking up is a complete failure on our part.

Long years ago I sat on my grandpa's front porch listening to the 
problems of the younger generation (the ones who fought WWI and Korea). 
To me a lot of this sounds much the same. Yes I have strong political 
beliefs which don't fit with the current climate but it serves little 
purpose to grouse about that here.
