John a container is typically 7'6 inside dimension if I remember correctly.
There are some 8'6 overall width containers that are a full 8' inside but 
they
are somewhat rare.  I'm remembering what I read a while back.  I might be 
wrong.

I should have thought of this sooner... If the width is less than 8 feet
a used shipping container can be bought delivered pretty cheap.
Something to look into for all our treasures.
