[AT] off topic , really confused

At some point in time, we have to understand the continuation of this community and of the antique tractor collecting community as a whole is dependent on young people. Conversations like this just make us look like a bunch a grumpy old man and leave them cold.  It makes us look like our fathers and their fathers before them. I could recite entire volumes, speeches and books and essays that decry the diminution of American.  Everyone of them would have been written before 1920.  Your angst is nothing new.

There's a new wave in America gentleman. It's a wave, and you better get a surfboard learn how to ride.    If not for yourselves, then for this list.   If not for the list then for wisdom in realizing that nothing lasts.  

My grandmother, at 91, was researching new laptops. I asked her why she even want to bother with them. She said "to stay relevant my dear".
