Many years ago there was an article in one of hte farm magazinea about
the test the Navy ran on DDT and sailors back in the 50's. Of the group
that ate the stuff every day in corn oil ( I think was how it was
applied) not one of them had Cancer after 40 or 50 years.... It
proves to me that the Idiot judge that outlawed it had no idea what he
was ruling on. They blamed the thin eggshells of the Bald eagle on
DDT. It could have just been genetics..... As you said Dave, one or 2
sprays of DDT and we could forget about the ZIKA virus and mosquitos
too.. DDT just got too cheap... I use BT because of my guineas
and cats. My best shade tree ws hit by the ice storm last winter, and
then by the Bagworms. By the time it got dry enough to spray, the
bagworms nearly had it destroyed.
