I tried an even crazier stunt when I was a kid but old enough to know 
better. I found that by hitting one wheel brake when driving on hard 
packed snow or ice in the yard
the other wheel would speed up to double normal speed and the old 40 
really moved.
I did convert the 40 from the original double shoe and drum brake to the 
newer double disk brakes using parts from a wrecked 50.
