I really wanted to be there this year... It is only about a 2 hour drive
for us even with a trailer or the motorhome. I was just feeling bad and
couldn't get anything ready and it kept getting worse. Turned into a fun
case of pneumonia from some pesky bacterial type germ I found somewhere.
Zithromax finally knocked it down, has some kind of scary possible side
effects though. You know, silly little things like potentially fatal heart
problems etc. I try to watch what I take pretty close but side effects are
just part of the game. Somebody said that if they didn't have side effects
they probably wouldn't have effects either :-) Sometimes I would probably
be better off not looking stuff up...
Tonight is the first I have felt half decent in nearly a month. Sure glad
we have Medicare and a good supplemental (AARP).
I did make it to an auction a couple of weeks ago and bought a front-mount
/ mid-mount grading blade for my Farmall Cub really cheap ($20). That's
about as antique tractorish as I have been lately.
Glad I bought a new mower this year. Huskvarna 27 HP 61" zero turn. Covers
ground fast. Son Scott helps with some of the mowing. Bit of a life
saver...
We just finished 7 days above 90 degrees and about 900% humuggity, didn't
help me at all. It's really nice this week at around 70 degrees for highs.
I hope to be rolling along well for a while now. Ain't getting old a
hoot...
:-)
