[AT] OT Oklahoma Ice storm

Charlie, It might have been the same storm or not but we had a similar 
situation here when I was a kid. Electrical out for a week, phone out 
for two. We moved in with my grandpa and had heat from the oil heater, 
removed the grate from the top and cooked on it. My dad and one of his 
volunteer fireman buddies used the civil defense generator to cool down 
the freezer at our house and then went through the community doing the 
same. As a kid it was a great adventure but I'm sure the adults didn't 
think so.
