[AT] Oliver Tractor for sale in MA

The challenge on pricing is that aside from all of the factors that a
seller might place into the calculation as to what they want is that
demand and prices vary widely between regions of the country too.
California and Texas prices are usually the lowest, New England the
highest. High retail for the Oliver 70 Standard is about $2000. That
would be a running tractor in decent condition with full sheet metal. I
am guessing that IF the tractor is running with the shifter working,
then despite my first thought as a California person (remember the lower
prices) that $2000 is probably reasonable in New England. Not having
decals will make it harder for the seller to get his price.....

The carb is off but the owner has a new rebuilt one ready to install. The seller also installed new plug wires, points, condenser, and cap. The bad news is that the shifter is broken. He is going to take it to get repaired if it does not sell. He also has an extra set of rear tires that go with it. He is selling it due to major health problems. The seller wants $1900 as it sits or more when it is functioning again. I think it is high but I don't know Olivers. If any one has any thoughts, let me know.
