Oh I forgot to address the Cecil Monson luck.
Cecil would roll up prepared to pay twice what it's worth,
the fellow would take one look at him and pay Cecil to haul it
away and be happy about it!

The man had the most incredible luck of anyone I've ever met
when it comes to buying old iron.  Just goes to show that a good personality
and kind ways will get you a long ways in life.  Too bad his luck didn't 
hold
out for his health.

My thought is that you should channel the spirit of Cecil Monson and pay
the guy scrap value for it.  Cecil would end up getting the guy to deliver
as well...
