[AT] Healthy Eating, was "Just checking"

Dean,

There was some discussion some months ago about the Oliver plows being more popular due to pulling better. Thought it was discussed here, but could have been elsewhere.

I am not sure what would make 1 plow pull better than another, unless there was some shape difference in the plow shears. If anyone has any ideas why one would pull easier, I would like to know.

Thanks
Dennis

I'll admit there were times when it was working at 100% capacity. The top half of the muffler would turn red and would light things up at night. Really preferred to plow at night, the extra bit of HP really helped. Talked to a local JD Dealer in his 80's a few years ago and he really surprised me when I asked about some specifics of JD hitches and plows in the 50's. He said that they didn't really sell very many JD plows then. The local farmer in NW WA state preferred Oliver plows because they pulled easier. Was that something unique to NW WA or have others experienced this? First time I had heard that..
