I had an 89 Chevy 4x4 that would drain batt after sitting 4 days. light
in glove box would stay on because too much in box and cracked hinge.
2003 Ford 4x4 had this problem. The door switch is in the door latch (
really dumb) I loil the latch every month and it keeps working. A good
penetrating oil may help on the door latch.
