I bought a very good set of drill bits in a screw top holder at the
farms show. It was the American Made Bit Sales booth. They have a
lifetime sharpening and replacement guarantee. However, I had mine
sharpened lately, and the sharpened ones seem to be a lot shorter and
they dull much quicker. My advice would be to just break the bit if you
want it sharpened by them and give them the broken piece that goes in
the drill. I got the mechanics length set that has 3 flats on the bits
for a 3/8 drill. The set goes from 1/16 to 1/2 by 1/64 i think the set
is made by Triumph.

I have been buying cheap throw away Harbor Freight titanium nitride coated bits but have gone back to using high speed steel bits. Even the higher quality coated bits don't seem to work as good as the high speed steel bits.
