Amazing Ralph. I wondered if you were seeing them.
Thanks for the link to the photos.
My mom said she saw them once as a small child
growing up in Southeastern NC almost at the South Carolina
line. That would have been in the 1920's.

Amazing Northern LIghts here the past week or so. I can't take pictures
of them with any
of my cameras but I have seen the results of others and they look
impressive. I actually turned
off my yardlight a few nights to get down to zero "light pollution" and
have a good view.
Nothing but star light and those waving and moving sheets of light in
the whole Northern'
sky.
