i generally agree with David with regards to the scientific precision, or lack thereof.  Also, it’s a mistake to get your news on scientific matters from the mass media.  They dumb down and sensationalize.  Go where the study was published if at all possible (Lancet Oncology in this case, but not sure if it is publicly accessible) and look at it for yourself.  It’s not necessary WRONG just because ABC News carried it, either.
