[AT] OT pocket knives

I very much enjoy sharpening my knives but there is little satisfaction in
sharpening a poor quality blade. I think you summed up what I was trying to
say about the old Cases vs steel blades very well. I like my knives to be
able to dry shave my arm when I'm through sharpening them, and am perfectly
content to swipe them on my whetstone every couple days or so to keep them
that way.
