We have no broadband at the house other than a verizon mifi wireless hub.
To get internet at my shop I bought a bridge that receives wifi from the
mifi and outputs it to d-link bridges that use the AC house wiring to form
a wired network. It works because the shop is fed through the house panel.
In theory it puts your internet on the entire grid but in practice the
signal does not carry very far outside your service wiring.
