[AT] I find this an interesting possibility

Interesting observation about the grandkids, Dean. My kids didn't take an
interest but an 8 year old grandson shows a lot of promise. Take a look at
the slideshow on b2parts.com; a friend of mine just sent me some pics to
post and it was an easy choice to use the one with his 12 year old grandson
thoroughly enjoying plowing. I told him the only thing that would have been
better would have been if it were his granddaughter.

Reminds me, and I'm sure most of us old farts, of ourselves at that age.
Then it was work and not play but very satisfying nonetheless...wouldn't
trade those years for anything.

Farmer,

Thanks for the link. I am afraid to call, I would expect the prices to be
very high and rightfully so. There is always someone in the US that will
fill a need. It wasn't that long ago that plows were considered only yard
art. The prices I've seen on the 40's and 50's plows recently are stunning
and what is even better is the current younger generation are the those who
are interested. It appears to me that there has been a generational skip
and the grandkids generation have more interest than our children's
generation. If that is true that is really good.

If I didn't screw up the link it points to the facebook page of someone in
Ohio making new parts for old plows.
