Great option. For me it is worth the $2800 premium over cost of 5.7 Hemi
3.0 Liter built by VM Diesel from Italy. This is old time engine manufacture that transformed to auto diesels for Jaguar, Fiat, Jeep, and now Ram. 240 HP and 420 torque
I have the 3.94 RA ratio to get about 9000 pound tow rating in a 4x4 dual cab long bed. This gets 25 to 27 MPG on flat land at 65 mph in Indiana and similar terrain. Going uphill from Kansas to Colorado at 75 mph drops down to just over 21 mph. Every day driving near Houston is 23 to 25 mpg, and frequent Houston to Tulsa trips average 24 to 25 MPG
Pulling trailers drop it some. Small 6 x 12 with mower got 21. Larger 20 ft bumper pull rated 10K with MF35 on it got about 19 Houston to Tulsa.
I have 62,000 miles on it now and had it about 14 months
