[AT] Haybine arrival

David, this is the bridge. It's 65 feet or so above the water at it's high
point.
It is multi lane but it's a freeway with 65 mph speed limit and very little
space between the edge of the lanes and the concrete retaining walls.
Heading east it's a bit over 2 1/2 miles to where he can pull over counting
the entrance ramp. Heading back west it's just over 2 miles. This is
actually
an improvement because before they built this bridge 10 or so years ago
there
were actually two bridges. One was one mile long 2 lane draw bridge with 2
way traffic and NO room to move over
and the other was about 1/2 mile long, also a draw bridge and constructed
exactly the same
way. In between the two were 3 blocks of town traffic.

Charlie we have some of the same issues here (except for the big
bridges). I can see why he would have a problem with nerves. The traffic
level here is a bit lower but we are beginning to get those refugees
from the city who think that are the most important thing period. Added
to that the size of the farming equipment has been getting steadily
larger. As for me I can stay calm and pull over to help the guys along
their way.
I simple can't imagine someone driving the big AG equipment on a 2 mile
bridge si I can understand his problem.

A lot of the farm fields here are less than 5 acres. I just don't get
using a 50' spray rig in such confines.
