[AT] off topic, need help on new parts chasing truck.

The old school fix on tractors and air cooled engines was to mix Marvel
Mystery Oil with the fuel. I'd almost be afraid to do that on something
modern considering all the sensors and exhaust equipment.
The way my luck runs, if for whatever reason this valve temporarily stuck
and got bent, the only way to fix it is by replacing it, no band-aid work
seems to fix it. I did polish the heck out of a valve from a Gravely walk
behind once until I got it not to stick. I kept miking the area that was
binding so I would know how much I was actually removing. Certainly not the
repair needed on a modern vehicle!

I have ran ATF thru the intake on older vehicles and it cleaned the carbon
build-up on the valve stems and then ran OK . In this case , I would
probably mix a upper lube with the gas and also put it in the oil and run
it . It might be a good idea to remove exhaust while running the oil thru
the intake . Another thought is , is the catalitc converter plugged ????
my thoughts only
