Now that’s a noteworthy recovery! That would have been a big job working 
inside an airplane hangar. Fixing it outdoors in the snow was insane! Makes 
us and our rusty tractors seem "normal".

This may be off topic to a certain extent because it has nothing to do with
old farm machinery however it is quite a story about resurrecting an old
1944 DC3 from quite a severe accident that happened in the Antarctica and as
most members of this list get involved in restoring older pieces of
machinery it is somewhat appropo.
