I don't see a lot of Rumely's around here, probably tended to be too big
for the smaller fields and smaller farms here in those days.
There used to be a family that brought several (I'm thinking 4) to the
Conner Prairie living history museum country fair event yearly at one time.
During the years that I was unable to go they stopped coming.
There was a good bit of turmoil at the top levels and a legal battle with
the college and museum and now they don't call it a museum. After the split
I think they call it a living history park now. Conner Prairie pays to have
the steamers hauled in and may have paid to get that set of Rumely's there.
After the changes they got really tight with spending.
