John, 3700 lumens is a lot of light, probable equal to 4 100 watt incandescent bulbs. Don’t know what wattage the LED’s draw, maybe20 watts? A 15 watt LED light will equal a 100 watt conventional bulb.

I would surely buy a couple and try them.

I am in process of converting to LED’s. Have changed my camper lights and ordered new LED’s for my 8 bulb chandelier. 40,000 hour life should end changing lights in my lifetime.

Costco has some 2 bulb 4’ LED shop lights that produce 3700 Lumens on sale for $32. I’ve got some 8’ fluorescent lights in the shop that have basically died, probably bad ballasts—they were used when they were installed over 30 years ago. Will one of the 3700 Lumen units produce more light than 8’ Fluorescent bulbs—I think the ones we have have 2 pins.

Thoughts, opinions? One way or another, I’ve GOT to get some new shop lights.
