You got it, Charlie V! The thing would do 87 MPH on the straight, and that's what I did for 4 hours (on some highway going north in Texas) on my way back to Detroit after being discharged. Someday I may tell the LIST about the time the boarder patrol found oranges under the back seat, or the time I was pulled over by Mexican police on my way back to base, from Zaragoza. Then there was the "pretty girl" who worked in a Mexican bar in El Paso--her name was Martha. (On the other hand since this is a "family friendly" list, I think I'll keep my mouth shut about Martha!)
