Ralph your video brought back a lot of memories... This is me at age 12
(1954) grinding feed. Since the Jubilee is weighing down the MM hammer mill
then the TO-20 Ferguson is running the belt. The next year a silo shaped
3,300 bu. ear corn crib went up on that spot and a 1,400 bu. grain bin next
to it the following year. That was a good sized crib for a small farm in
those days. We had ear corn storage for about 7,500 bu. at the peak (before
going to shelled corn) then when it was all full we had to start hauling to
the grain elevator. That slowed things down a lot. Too much waiting in
line...
