Ralph the land is flat here but we have lots of trees
and we aren't as flat as it is where you are.
I noticed in the first picture, it might have been from the
camera lens, it appeared that you could make out the
curvature of the earth in the background. We can see
that here but it has to be when we are looking out over
the ocean. I suspect you can see it over land there.
Really, anywhere that you can see about 7 miles with
little obstruction you can discern the curve.
Charlie

Thanks, but trust me, for December in Sask. that is way above normal
conditions.
It was in the high 30s that day and I was actually too warm at times
steering the old
40. Normal temp would be daytime high of maybe 20 if we are lucky.
Spencer we do get a lot of nice sky in this country. I took this shot
last May when I
finally was able to get on the field and finish the flax harvest. I'll
be doing that again
next spring on a larger scale assuming I survive the winter. 130 acres
laying in the
swath right now with little hope of drying til spring.
Ralph in Sask.
