I'm pretty sure you can have attachments(pictures, files, etc.) to text messages because Spencer as
now allowed it, up to a total (attachment plus text message) limit of 300,000 bytes or so.  You cannot
imbed  a picture in a text message but you can include a link to a picture at another site in a text
message.

If his email client is set for text only then no photos.
