John,

Here is a night picture I took several years ago (2007) with a Nikon D80. Due to the limitation of
message size on ATIS, I have had to reduce the size and resolution dramatically but is indicative of
what can be done. It is a picture of the pool where we stay in the Winter in AZ. Some Christmas
lights, water and lots of color. This was done with a tripod and remote shutter release.

John,

In my limited experience the camera has to be perfectly still and I mean really still. Such as using a
tripod and a remote shutter release because the shutter speed is so slow and aperture is wide open..
I took a whole bunch of Christmas decorations and lights at night in AZ a few years ago and they came
out really good. I'll try to find one and post it.
