Dean,  Thanks for sharing. What was this model JD and when did they come 
out?
There is a second scoop shovel stuck in the snow behind and on the other 
side of the tractor.  I shoveled a lot of snow, too much, with a normal 
scoop shovel.  I do not remember our having a snow shovel.  We had an old JD 
just like this until Dad bought a new 1938 CC Case with NFE and rubber 
tires.  I often wished (to myself) that he had waited one year because Case 
made major enhancements in 1939; battery , lights, starter, and road gear. 
But he probably did not know about this at time of purchase.  Herb(GA)
