[AT] Need help troubleshooting engine/compressor

I haven't done it on my current truck but on most of my pickups and my 
tractors
I've been known to add a quart of Dexron ATF or a quart of diesel fuel and 
let the
engine idle for a few minutes before dumping the oil for an oil change.

If it ever damaged anything I don't know it and it sure helps was the crud 
out.
