The cellphone is an issue but so is changing radios settings, eating
that burrito, pouring that coffee on your lap, etc. When driving your
job should be driving.
Our recently lost and dearly beloved volunteer fire chief owned an
excavation business and as such drove dump trucks hauling things. One
day he was hit head on by a young lady who was texting. He was unhurt
but she spent months in a hospital and rehab all because she just had to
"lol" someones text to her. That incident haunted him until the day he died.
