Thanks Steve,   I believe you are exactly right and luckily
I think I got it out but I'll keep close watch on it for a while.
How do you go about vacuum filling them?

Classic symptom of an air pocket.
You could borrow a pressure tester and make sure you don't have an
unknown leak, but I would bet there is air in the block. I routinely
vacuum fill systems now because many use a pressure tank system and are
a PIA to get all the air out...
